Cheesy Bacon French Bread

Yummo, right?

I threw this bread together last week out of ingredients I had on hand and it was a huge hit at the dinner table! It made such a great side dish to go along with our spaghetti and salad.

And the best part? It's so so so easy!

Cheesy Bacon French Bread

Loaf of french bread
butter, softened
Mozzerella and Cheddar cheese, shredded
Bacon bits (the real kind...not that cardboard imitation stuff)
Green Onions, sliced

Ok. Now...as with a lot of my recipes....I don't actually know the measurements. I just kind of throw it together.

Cut your french bread in half, slather each slice with butter (yes. this is a very healthy recipe.), sprinkle liberally with cheese, shower the bread with bacon bits (oh, why, oh why does bacon have to be so tasty?), add the green onions (which I just slice with my kitchen scissors. so easy.) Then bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.

Easy, right? And, oh so good!

This picture was my kids' idea! I can't remember who suggested it, but they thought it would be funny to have their hands all reaching for the bread. I love it.

Yep. This bread was a huge hit.
