photo challenge: take photos of YOUSELF with your children

I just read about a very very cool photo challenge on I am Momma Hear Me Roar. It's all about how we, as mothers, need to make sure we are actually in photos with our children.

This is something I completely agree with. And there is a beautiful post on pluckymomo about Aleida, the woman who inspired this photo challenge.  She made sure to take photos of herself with her children every month. And at the age of 41 when her little ones were still very small, she was killed in a car accident.

Her children will now cherish those beautiful photos of themselves and their mother.

So, the challenge is to do the same. Take photos of you and your children every month and then share them on your blog or in pluckymomo's flickr group or with the hashtag #ALEIDASCHALLENGE on instagram, facebook and twitter.

This is a brilliant idea. And I think I'll do the same as Cheri at I am Momma Hear Me Roar and post them the first Sunday of the month. Hmmmm....that's tomorrow....I better get busy....
